Sajou Spectacle - PDF

Very simple sewing skills take this eyechart-inspired chart to a flannel-lined case for your glasses. The letters don't stand for anything clever - they just represent Sajou-style alphabets in decreasing sizes. I introduced this idea about a decade ago with a limited edition kit. This version has been updated to use currently available materials. This chart-only offering includes instructions for making the case but none of the physical components (linen, floss, and a square of flannel). I used Classic Colorworks cotton threads on 36 count Ewe's Ear linen by Seraphim Fabrics. Thread colors used are Bandana, Licorice Red, and Tartan plaid. A DMC conversion is included.
