Northwoods - PDF

If you are hunting for a nice little sampler, you might find this one right on target. It was inspired some time ago when Weeks Dye Works came out with a color called Blaze. I recall discussing with a few fellow designers about the very limited use we projected for this obnoxiously bright color. There aren't many opportunities to use hunters' safety orange in your stitching, so I took a shot and used it in this sampler. A few Nordic-style motifs accent the bountiful wooded landscape.

Stitched on Weeks Dye Works 40 count linen with their floss. A DMC conversion is provided.
