Cocoa Time
One of my two new charts in the Arrangements series celebrates the many ways to make hot chocolate special. You’ll recognize peppermint, of course, and marshmallows big and small, with a delicate marshmallow vine at the bottom. I've also provided for the adventurous cocoa drinkers with chili, orange, and anise. Mexican hot chocolate starts with a round chocolate tablet and the molinillo (opposite the mini-whisk) is used to froth it up.
Don’t forget the finishing touch of whipped cream and sprinkles. It’s 87 stitches square, stitched with Classic Colorworks Threads (12-Grain, Colonial Copper, Trail Dust, Caterpillar, Deep Fennel, Cherry Cobbler, Strawberry Parfait, and Rosy Glow) on 30 count "Charlotte's Pink" Weeks Dye Works linen.
The chart includes an option to replace two of the cinnamon sticks with miniature bottles of Peppermint Schnapps and Bailey's.
