Quaker Genetics

Regular price $12.00 $0.00

Dedicated to all of those biologists out there, who've spent so many hours drawing up little tables and calculating what percentage of the peas should statistically be wrinkly.

This is in fact one of those tables, called a Punnett Square. Using two shapes of Quaker motifs and two colorings, it shows the outcome of dominant and recessive traits in the subsequent generations.

Don't worry if that doesn't make too much sense; we're just trying to have a little fun.

The original model was done on 32 count Vintage Clay Pot by Lakeside Linens (orange-ish), which is great if you liked it, but I admit that it was not my favorite once it came back from the model stitcher so I photoshopped in the purpley-gray. Alternate fabrics are shown in the other photos.
Stitch count is 153 x 153.

Stitched in Gentle Arts Threads. Number of skeins needed:
2 Buttermilk
4 Cherry Bark
2 Espresso Bean
1 Otter Creek
