Mother Maya - PDF

Mother Maya is a sampling of motifs in the ancient Mexican styles. Some are based on historic carvings, others were chiseled from my imagination. I just love the dancing monkey Dude.

It's so hard to see just how beautiful the floss color is from this photo - Mojave fire is rust with hints of gold and olive. It took 8 skeins, but is unfortunately not being made any more. You will need approximately 59 yards of 6 ply floss for stitching 2 over 2 on 28 count. 

187 x 225 stitch count. Individual motifs will make great ornaments or bookmarks. The digital chart is Pattern Keeper friendly.
