Did you know that the Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon Mandala is easily customised for use with other awareness causes?

Missie used DMC purples 4220, 155, 340, 3746 and 3747 to make this beautiful version to support an eating disorder fundraiser.

Lori A. made this pinkeep for her mother, a breast cancer survivor. She used Carrie’s Threads on Enchanted Fabrics 28 count Lugana in Royalty Flair.

Paula used the July 2007 knot to make this cute biscornu for a gift. She used threads from her stash on 28 count white Monaco with a neat beaded edge.

This is the knot chart you receive for signing up the newletter. Emily stitched it using DMC (regular and variegated) on Antique White monaco.

Rachel made hers into a biscornu!  She used Dove Grey Zweigart and Vikki Clayton’s HDF silks.

OCTOBER is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I have pulled all of these pictures together and added this new one in hopes of honoring, celebrating survival, remembering.

Debs in Canada stitched this mandala for her niece Cindy who recently had the surgery. What a special gift.  We send healing thoughts her way too.

Cynthia sent me this one, and the picture says it all! Done with DMC 154, 554, 603, 3834, 718, Mill Hill beads 00553, on a hand-dyed Sassy's Fabbys evenweave.

Nancy Murdock stitched this mandala for a cancer surviving coworker over one on 18 count Khaki evenweave using Carrie’s threads.

Valerie used DMC 4210 on Antique White Monaco 28 ct (2 over 2) for her version of the Jan 06 chart.

Antonella shared the April 07 knot chart with her Mom who made it into the this nifty bag.

Sara made this one for an exchange and cleverly reversed the colors on the flip side. The floss is Caron’s Wildflowers Ruby.

Mindi made this one using Caron Waterlilies “Ambrosia” silk and a little green from her stash on 28 count linen.

Here is the Sept/Oct 2006 Complimentary knots worked by Donni in Wisconsin. She used DMC #310 and #3845 together in the needle to give a heathery look.
